Setup

The CreativeMode Launcher is the easiest way to play with CreativeMode mods. It handles Quickplay, modpacks, and multiplayer.

Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Installation#

Once downloaded, install the launcher for your platform:

Windows: Run the installer and follow the setup wizard.

macOS: Open the DMG, drag to Applications. On first launch, right-click → Open if Gatekeeper blocks it.

Linux: Make the AppImage executable (chmod +x) and run it.

First-time setup#

When you first launch the launcher, you'll need to:

1. Sign in to your CreativeMode account — Click "Sign In with CreativeMode" and authenticate.

2. Link your Microsoft account — Required to launch Minecraft. This uses your legitimate Minecraft license.

3. Wait for setup to complete — The launcher will download Java, Minecraft, and Fabric automatically. This may take a few minutes.

That's it. You're ready to play.
