While wielding the sword you automatically gain passive buffs—fire resistance, water breathing, jump boosts, slow falling, levitation and more—based on your current essence, and Sneak + Right-Click unleashes that mob’s active ability (egg shots, teleportation, fireballs, summoning allies, guardian lasers, slime bounces, poison stings, explosions, etc.). A clear on-screen message tells you when each ability is charged or on cooldown, ensuring your powers always fire reliably when you need them.
