Description:
Darkness Scythe is a sinister, high‑speed melee weapon that hits like netherite with double attack speed; while held at night you gain Invisibility, Speed II, Regeneration II and Health Boost II, but wielding it curses you with permanent Slowness during daytime. Right‑click to Shadow Step through walls (20 s cooldown), and sneak + right‑click at night to pacify hostile mobs within 20 blocks so they’ll attack whatever you hit (also 20 s cooldown); pacified mobs revert to hostility at dawn. A compact HUD appears on your action bar while holding the scythe showing time state and ability status (e.g. “Scythe | NIGHT | Blink: ✓ | Charm: 12.4s”); while holding the scythe Sneak + Right‑Click toggles that HUD on or off and shows a brief “HUD: ON” or “HUD: OFF” confirmation (toggle is per‑player and resets on world reload).
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "Darkness Scythe" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.

User request: Add a new Darkness Scythe weapon that deals the same damage as a netherite sword but with half the attack cooldown. At night time ,when held, grants the wielder invisiblity, speed, regeneration and an extra 2 rows of hearts. During the day the wielder has permanent slowness, whether they are holding the scythe or not. When the player hits a mob at night, the mob is consumed with darkness and gets poison and darkness for 10 seconds. When the player shifts during the night, every mob in 20 blocks become friendly and starts attacking any mob the player hits, however when it turns day, every mob the player made friendly turns hostile and targets the player indefinitely. Additionally, during the night time when the player right clicks in front of a wall they get teleported forwards as far as they need to be teleported to get to the end of the wall. On the screen, there should be a list of abilities that the player can use. There should also be a 20 second cooldown on each ability. Edit v2: Make the player have the potion effects invisibility, speed 2, regeneration 2 and health boost 2 when it is night time. Also make the player able to make hostile mobs friendly during the night time when the player shifts. Also make the scythe only stackable to 1 and remove the background of the item icon in game.
