Description:
This mod adds the 'Chalice of Bloodfeast' item into your world, the item cannot be crafted and instead can only be found in a very rare structure called The Cathedral, which can be found rarely in any plains biome on the surface, or much more commonly in a pale garden. Upon consuming the chalice, you'll immediately notice the hunger effect, and a new bar on the right hand side of the screen, the way you play in the world now revolves around this bar, as it's your only way of remaining fed and healthy. Below a value of 5, you'll gain constant hunger. The bar decays by 5 every 5 seconds to heal you if you are missing health, and it decays by 3 every 6 seconds to feed you if you are missing food. Above a value of 60, it passively decays by 1 every 3 seconds. Above 40 value, you'll notice a passive speed buff. Above 60, you'll notice an aura around your character, causing you to deal and take an extra point of damage naturally. And above 75, you'll gain slight lifesteal on hit. There are some more things to go over, but those can be experienced in game, much like the abilities. As this is just a teaser of another mod I'm making, I've automatically included the 4 abilities you'll have. These cost bloodfeast to use, naturally. The 'Single' ability can be used up to 3 times during its windup to increase its damage. The 'AoE' ability grows stronger the more entities it hits. Do note that being around or in water/rain will weaken and slow you. And eating any normal food will poison and give you hunger. There is also a mechanic to create a chalice using bloodfeast by shift rightclick while holding a glass bottle. Do note that this is supposed to make it so people who drink that one have a max bloodfeast value of 90, and it decreases as it goes on. (untested unfortunately). There is also a keybind to make a chalice, however this is a failsafe in the event shift rightclicking does not work. please note: each player can only ever make 2 chalice's.
